A day amongst the bluebells

This years bluebells have seemed more vivid and spectacular than ever, but perhaps we think that each time we're greeted with them because we forget just how beautiful they are? I've lost count of the amount of times they've stopped me in my tracks in the last few weeks. 

The light was incredible today, too. I attempted to capture the warmth and freshness in the air, helped considerably by the beams of sunlight amplifiying the hue of the young beech leaves.
